ALLELIX INC. BIOTECHNOLOGY CENTRE, MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO. (STHIP)

This $8,000,000 facility features a series of atriums ensuring the provision of appropriate levels of natural daylight to each lab and office. A rooftop greenhouse completes this research complex.

 

 

RAYMOND HOME, RAYMOND BC (HB)

This facility was created in 1985 to serve mentally challenged clients. With a project cost of $5,000,000 and consisting of both new and renovated components, it houses of an administrative core, reseidences and a "Life Enrichment Centre". All structures were designed to incorporate a complete air-barrier system, in response to climactic conditions. This use of breakthrough technology served as a prototype for new and altered construction.
